So a thing happened! A few months ago I was approached to have a story written about me and my dolls and it's just now came out!! The focus is on my science background and resin casting, as a snapshot into the work I do ^_^

Check it out!! :D

I make a lot of art featuring pretty, athletic wimmins looking awesome. I work primarily in a mixture of markers, inks and watercolor. I'm also a doll sculptor (sculpting and casting and painting and clothing!) and apparently a masochist for being one.

Commissions

I do take commissions, just send me a note! Commissions can be for illustrations or even sculpture work (including BJDs!). ^_^ Pricing is dependent on the details of the commission.

Hi! I'm also sculpting my own bjd from scratch. I was thinking of having you cast it since we're both in CA. I was just wondering.. do you send the molds back with the resin casts or do you hang on to those?

Hi there! Typically the molds are put into storage for later casting per the artist's orders ( the molds have a very long shelf life) or destroyed (if the artist requests it or the molds are no longer useable). The molds are constructed specifically for use with the casting setup and equipment that I have. If the artist wants to have molds made for their own casting purposes, I can do that, but I can't guarantee no air bubbles, etc.

ofcourse, thanks so much! I'm still working on my project and then I'll see if I can place pre-orders. Then I'll know if I should cast 2 or 10, or just heads... ya never know ;)

You get 2 resin casts with moldmaking, so you can always get your doll molded and then decide how you want to proceed. We'll keep your molds in storage until you tell us to destroy them, or use them to make casts for you. Thanks for your interest and good luck with your doll!
